The Party Boys began in 1982 when Paul Christie, Buzz Bidstrup, Kevin Borich, Harvey James ( Sherbet) and James Reyne ( Australian Crawl) played a half a dozen gigs around Sydney and recorded a live album at the last one. This album "Live at several 21sts" went on to be a gold selling record and the Party Boys line up kept evolving as the band kept playing for many more years. Some of the biggest names in Aussie Rock have appeared in the band as well as some international guests like Joe Walsh and Eric Burdon.
This year at the Aussie Rock Celebration concert The Party Boys will again feature original members Paul Christie ( Mondo Rock), Graham”Buzz”Bidstrup (The Angels, GANGgajang) and Kevin Borich as well as Mark Evans (former bass player with AC/DC and Dave Evans ( original singer with AC/DC). We are also honoured to have half of one of the worlds biggest selling bands Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan (the rocking rhythm section of Status Quo) plus Randall Waller (Shania Twain band). The all star outfit will play a selection of Bon era AC/DC classics with a few Quo golden oldies thrown in for good measure.
